Frequently Asked Questions

What products does Sheen Tex India manufacture?

We manufacture soft home furnishings across seven categories: rugs and carpets, cushions, bath mats, throws, poufs and stools, storage baskets and tote bags. Rugs and carpets are our core category. We make all of these in-house at our facilities in Panipat, India, and supply retailers and importers worldwide.

Can we source several product categories from you in one order?

Yes. We make all seven categories ourselves, so you can build a mixed range and consolidate it with one supplier. That means fewer vendors to manage, simpler shipping, and the same quality standards and compliance across the whole order.

Are you a manufacturer or a trading house?

We are a manufacturer. We run the full production chain in-house, from yarn and dyeing through weaving, tufting, stitching, filling, finishing and packing. You can visit our facilities or see them on video. The factory that quotes your order is the factory that makes it.

Do you make private label and own-brand products?

Yes. Most of our work is private label for retailers and brands. We produce to your brand, your designs and your packing and labelling requirements across every category we make.

Can you make products to our own designs, or do you have a catalogue?

You have three options. Send us your own designs and we match them. Brief our in-house design team and we create designs for you. Or select from our catalogue. Many buyers use a mix of all three across a single range.

Does your design team understand our market?

Yes. Our in-house design team works to region-wise preferences for Australia, the United Kingdom, Europe and the United States. We advise on the colours, constructions and sizes that suit your market, then develop the range with you.

What is the minimum order quantity?

Minimums depend on the product, the construction and the design. Catalogue items carry lower minimums than custom or fine woven work. Tell us the categories and volumes you are planning and we will confirm the minimum for each item.

What are your typical lead times?

Sampling usually takes one to three weeks depending on complexity. Production timelines depend on the category, the order size and the season. We confirm exact dates once we have your specifications, and we plan seasonal ranges ahead with you.

Can we get samples before placing an order?

Yes. We provide samples so you can approve construction, colour and size before production. For custom designs we make pre-production samples for sign-off, so the bulk order matches what you approved.

Which certifications does Sheen Tex India hold?

We hold 11 certifications across product safety, social compliance, environment and supply chain security: OEKO-TEX Standard 100, SEDEX, SA8000, amfori BSCI, BCI, C-TPAT, GSV, ISO 9001, ISO 14001, Global Recycled Standard and Higg Index. We can share current certificates on request.

What materials and fibres do you work with?

We work with wool, cotton, polyester, polypropylene, viscose, jute and other natural fibres, along with recycled yarns certified to the Global Recycled Standard. We help match the right fibre to each product, price point and end use.

How do you keep quality consistent across so many product types?

We use multi-step verification at each production stage and test in our own labs for yarn, colour fastness and strength. Because we control every stage in-house, issues are caught and fixed at the source rather than found after shipping.

Where are you based and which markets do you supply?

We are based in Panipat, Haryana, India, a major hub for home textiles. We export to retailers across Australia, the United Kingdom, Europe and the United States.

How large is your production capacity?

We operate three facilities across 1.2 million square feet with a workforce of more than 900 people. Our equipment includes 50 shuttle-less looms, 110 power looms with jacquard, 10 jumbo jacquard machines and wide tufting machines with 560 needles, with filling capacity of 200,000 pieces per month. This lets us scale from a first order to a much larger repeat order on the same lines.

Do you offer sustainable or recycled options?

Yes. We offer recycled yarns certified to the Global Recycled Standard and responsibly sourced cotton through BCI. Our facilities run on solar power, and we track environmental performance through the Higg Index. We can build a range that meets your sustainability requirements.

How do we start working with you?

Tell us the categories you are planning, your designs or references, your sizes and your volumes. We will recommend constructions and materials, send samples, and confirm minimums and lead times. Get in touch to start a project.
